Synopsis:
The feature-length documentary of the true story which was dramatised
in the award winning film End of the Spear. The story begins in the
Amazon Basin with interviews of the actual Waodani Indians, who
speared five American missionaries to death in 1956, at which time the
Waodani society had been extremely violent with most adult deaths the
result of homicide. Two years after Elizabeth Elliot, the wife of one of
the murdered men and Rachael Saint, the sister of another, went to
live with the Waodani tribe, the mortality rate dropped dramatically.
This is an amazing story about how love can truly transform any
situation and how faith makes a family out of the most unlikely of
people.
